Minn Kota Marine: Trolling Motors That Do The Job Well

Minn Kota Endura 55 Trolling Motor

Among the most popular trolling motors developed by Minn Kota is the Endura 55.  Released in 1991, anglers found that this trolling motor is reliable and could survive different environmental elements.  Its shaft made of special composite materials has been tested three times.  Tests showed that the material is stronger than steel.   The Level Lock Bracket is also considered to be stronger and more durable than those of other manufacturers.

The Maxxum 55 can be detached easily.  In an impact or collision, the motor would automatically disengage from the boat avoiding and protecting the boat and the motor. Another feature is automatic resetting of the engine.  Compared with other trolling motors, it would run five times longer since the motor maximizes the battery.

A useful feature of the Maxxum 55 is the hand-controlled tiller and easy foot steer or pedal.  The angler can navigate through the waters while sitting down  and fishing. Just like the Endura 55, the shaft is made of materials which make it unbreakable and rust-free.  It would flex upon impact, but would return again to its position prior to the impact.

Minn Kota Vector 3x

The Minn Kota Vector 3x is a trolling motor which allows the angler to have much control of the boat.  With a hand Tilt Steering Control, it is easier to make adjustments in boat location and direction. This would also lessen interference between the outboard and the tiller. The handle could extend to 21 inches.  It allows the fisherman to grab the tilt steering control between the knees while fishing.

It is easy to know the battery information or the current charge of the battery.  The battery gauge would display with just one push of the button.  Its flared and swept-back blades would push the weeds and other thick materials away.  Similar to other Minn Kota trolling motors, it is made of stronger-than-steel composite materials and displays cool and quiet motor power.
