KVH TracVision C3 Satellite Antenna

The Azimuth 1000 digital fluxgate compass is equipped with automatic compensation.  Auto-compensation would balance the magnetic field distortion.  Balancing or compensating with this distortion would increase accuracy.  Because of auto-compensation, the digital compass could have is 0.5°C of accuracy or staying in the right path and direction.

The standard NMEA 0183 output is also present in the digital compass which allows it to communicate or interface with other navigation or marine instrument.  It could be used along with radars, computer software, chart plotters and other electronic devices.

Azimuth 103ac Digital Compass

Also referred to as Sailcomp 103AC, this equipment are popularly used in sailing races.  A large heading makes navigation data and steering information to be read easily.  This is ideal for sailors who are travelling in high speed.  Backlighting makes the LCD or the display head easy to read whether it is day or night.  It could also be adjusted to display other information that the sailor may need like cross-track error or distance to the waypoint.

It is easy to install, use and simple, but accurate.  Armed with auto-compensation, it has 0.5°C of accuracy and compatible with other NMEA 0183 equipment.  It could be liked and used with chart plotters, computer software, Loran, and GPS.
